LSU is preparing for Year 1 of the Brian Kelly era, and the Tigers just got some good news.

It was originally thought that TE Nick Storz, who was also a pitcher on the baseball team, had medically retired during the 2021 season.

But, on Thursday, LSU reporter Wilson Alexander tweeted that Storz was back on the roster and would wear No. 48 this season:

Storz has appeared in 10 games for the Tigers over his career, making 1 start. But, he has yet to record any stats.

What sort of role Storz carves out for himself this fall remains to be seen. But, hopefully, he’ll be able to avoid the injuries that have plagued him through his career.
