LSU freshman wide receiver Koy Moore took to Twitter on Sunday to share the details of an encounter he said he had with police officers on Saturday night.

While the Tigers were on a bye this week, Moore said he was “approached by policemen” who believed he had “a gun and drugs.” Moore stated that he was “violated numerous times” and had his phone taken from him as he tried to video what was happening. Moore also said that the situation was resolved after he told them he was an LSU football player.

Here’s the full statement that Moore tweeted:

Moore is in his first year at LSU after previously attending Archbishop Rummel High School in Metairie, La. He was a 4-star recruit in the Tigers’ 2020 class.
