Cam Thomas is almost certainly going to head to the 2021 NBA Draft, where he’ll likely be a first-round pick. After his electric freshman year at LSU, where he was the SEC’s leading scorer, that will come as no surprise.

But, what about the other key LSU players from this past season? What will Javonte Smart, Darius Days and Trendon Watford do?

Well, according to coach Will Wade, he’s planning on all 4 of those guys heading to the draft (via The Advocate):

“I talked to everybody,” he said. “Those four are different; we obviously know they’re putting their names in and they’re most likely all gone. Those are two totally different conversations.

“I think everybody’s mindset right now is they’re staying in (the draft). They’re all declaring.”

Players have until May 30 to decide what they want to do, so it’ll be interesting to see how Wade manages his roster between now and then.

For now, though, he’s operating as if they’re all leaving for the NBA, so the Tigers will probably look very different in 2021-22.
