Former LSU WR, now a member of the Green Bay Packers, Malachi Dupre was recently knocked out during a preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

He returned to practice on Tuesday after being cleared, and he recently shared his thoughts from the frightening event with Rob Demovsky.

Demovsky reported the conversation on ESPN.

“I just remember catching the football,” Dupre said. “After that, nothing until I woke up in the ambulance. I don’t remember giving a thumbs-up to the crowd or anything.”

It was certainly scary just watching the play, and Dupre says it was the scariest thing he’s ever been through.

“It was the scariest thing in my life because I don’t know why I was there,” Dupre explained. “When I tell you I did not have a clue why I was in the ambulance, I woke up first and heard the sirens…I panicked, but I had great care that night and I’m very thankful to be back.”

Thankfully Dupre is okay and should be good to go moving forward. Dupre finished his LSU career with 98 receptions, 1,609 yards, and 14 TDs. He is trying to make the Packers roster after being selected in the seventh round of this year’s draft.
