Joe Burrow is in the spotlight as the quarterback of the No. 1 LSU Tigers and a surging Heisman Trophy candidate. It’s safe to say Burrow’s NFL Draft stock is also on the rise.

NFL Network analyst Daniel Jeremiah recently stopped by “The Jim Rome Show” to discuss Burrow’s NFL future. While Jeremiah himself is a fan, he shared that at least one NFL GM seemed somewhat hesitant to praise Burrow.

“What don’t you like?” Jeremiah asked. “He doesn’t have a huge arm. Who cares? That’s the knock on (Burrow) – he doesn’t have a huge arm. He moves the football up and down the field. He’s tough. He makes good decisions, accurate – all that stuff. All the stuff that makes a good quarterback, this kid has it.”

Burrow isn’t the only Tiger that Jeremiah has been studying. He recently shared some high praise for one of Burrow’s favorite targets, WR Justin Jefferson.

It will certainly be interesting to see where these talented Tigers land in the NFL. For now, however, their only concern appears to be winning the College Football Playoff.
