Report: LSU RB Tae Provens enters NCAA transfer portal
Another LSU player has entered the NCAA transfer portal, per AL.com’s Matt Zenitz.
Freshman RB Tae Provens is exploring a transfer. Although Provens has entered the portal, it doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll transfer. It does give him the opportunity to contact other programs.
During his freshman season in 2018, Provens recorded four carries for 13 yards.
The Gurley, Alabama, native was a 3-star prospect exiting high school and was ranked as the nation’s No. 63 overall athlete and the state of Alabama’s No. 26 overall player, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
In addition to Provens, LSU players Davin Cotton, Dominic Livingston, Dantrieze Scott, Justin Jones and Mannie Netherly have all explored a transfer by entering the NCAA transfer portal.

I figured Proven and/or Curry would enter the portal. Not really a surprise.
What is going on?
Is something wrong?
Most likely just looking for more playing time.
Dude is good, but he’s getting buried in the depth chart by better players.
This is too funny since just a few months ago coach Shrek was bragging that LSU was only one of two schools with no players wanting to transfer. Was he clueless or what?
