After being named a true freshman All-American following the 2015 season and playing a key role for last year’s squad, LSU OL Maea Teuhema has seen his career in Baton Rouge slow down significantly.

On Wednesday morning, it was announced that the junior lineman was being suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules, and he wasted no time deciding on his future.

According to a school release, Teuhema will transfer from the program.

“Offensive lineman Maea Teuhema has been granted his release from the LSU football team and will transfer to another school, head coach Ed Orgeron announced Wednesday night,” the release reads.

Teuhema has yet to announce which school he’ll play for next, but his time with the Tigers has come to an abrupt end.
