Star LSU outside linebacker back in action after missing more than a week of practice
Some good news out of LSU on the injury front.
Star outside linebacker K’Lavon Chaisson, who has the honor of wearing No. 18 in 2019, is practicing Thursday according to the Tigers beat reporters in Baton Rouge. Chaisson had been sidelined since Aug. 5. The freshman standout (2017) suffered an injury in the 2018 opener against Miami which sidelined him the rest of the season and is looking to pick up where he left off.
Injuries are a part of football and we’ve already seen major camp injuries around the SEC, but Ed Orgeron’s squad appears to have avoided any major losses for now. Less than a week ago, Joe Burrow, Grant Delpit, Kristian Fulton (along with Chaisson) were not practicing. They were all participating in Thursday’s practice.
