LSU’s defensive tackle depth will get a boost for 2014.
Four-star signee Travonte Valentine tweeted that he’s cleared to play at LSU for 2014.

Valentine had been awaiting the NCAA Clearinghouse’s decision.
How much of an impact will he have in 2014? While Valentine does add some nice depth to the position, picking up the defense and getting into game shape after missing several days will be difficult for him to make an immediate splash.
Travonte Valentine will arrive at #LSU Tuesday and is expected to begin practice Wednesday, his high school coach says.
