Palmer changes schools to stay with the same position coach. Mickey Joseph, who coached wide receivers at LSU from 2017-21, is now on Scott Frost’s Cornhuskers staff coaching the same position group. Joseph will also hold the titles of associate head coach and passing game coordinator at Nebraska.

A Kentwood (Louisiana) High School product, Palmer joined the Tigers in 2019. Palmer played in 28 games for the Tigers over the past 3 seasons. In 2021, Palmer recorded 30 catches for 344 yards and 3 touchdowns, career-highs in production as a college receiver.
