One of the top linemen from the state of Louisiana has just announced his college commitment.
New Orleans native Tygee Hill plans to play his college football for Ed Orgeron’s LSU program.
The Edna Karr High School standout announced the news on Thursday. He picked LSU over scholarship offers from Alabama, Florida, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Miami and Texas, among others.
Following Hill’s commitment, LSU now holds pledges from 11 prospects in the 2022 recruiting cycle. LSU’s class ranks No. 2 nationally and No. 1 in the SEC for the 2022 recruiting cycle.
The 6-foot-2, 280 pound Hill is rated as a four-star prospect, the No. 24 defensive tackle and the No. 16 overall prospect from Louisiana in the 2022 recruiting cycle according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
