Former LSU star Naz Reid didn’t hear his name called during the 2019 NBA Draft, but he signed a Summer League deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves and has looked good so far.
On Wednesday, he put together quite a performance against the Miami Heat, finishing the game with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
As you can see below, he had a nifty spin move for a dunk to tie the game at 81-81 late in the fourth quarter:

He also knocked down the game-winning free throws for the Timberwolves. It was an all-around good performance for a guy who’s simply trying to make an NBA roster this fall.
Whether or not he ends up with the Timberwolves remains to be seen, but this is a good start for the former Tiger.
