ESPN had the package ready to go Thursday night.

Following the Tennessee Titans selection of former Mississippi State standout Jeffery Simmons in the first round, the network showed the video of Simmons assaulting a woman in 2016.

During his time at MSU, Simmons was a model citizen and has repeatedly taken full responsibility for his actions. Because of the incident, Simmons wasn’t invited to the NFL Combine, but he was allowed to interview with teams at the event.

While training for his Pro Day, Simmons unfortunately tore his ACL while working out and will miss the season for the Titans.

Below is the video from ESPN as shared by Trey Wallace on draft night:

Fans didn’t think it was appropriate to show Simmons’ video on the biggest night of his life.
