Mississippi State starter JT Ginn pitched a gem, going six innings and allowing no runs. Relievers Jared Liebelt and Cole Gordon allowed four runs, with Gordon being the pitcher of record.

Tanner Allen, Rowdey Jordan and Gunner Halter each recorded RBIs for the Bulldogs. Jake Mangum knocked his 108th hit of the season, breaking the Mississippi State single-season record set by Adam Frazier in 2013.

Lucas Dunn and Drew Campbell each recorded two hits for Louisville, with Danny Oriente, Campbell and Justin Lavey recording RBIs. The Cardinals’ bullpen really deserves credit for holding Mississippi State’s offense late in the game.
