The Mississippi State Bulldogs are entering Year 2 under head coach Mike Leach, and there’s reason for optimism in Starkville.

On Monday, the Bulldogs added a player to their 2022 recruiting class, picking up an offensive lineman out of Georgia.

As you can see below, Ola High School OL Jackson Cannon announced via Twitter on Monday evening that he was committing to Mississippi State:

Cannon has yet to be rated by any of the major recruiting services. He held offers from Ball State, UAB and Western Kentucky, in addition to Mississippi State.

The Bulldogs now have 4 players in their 2022 recruiting class, which currently ranks No. 25 in the nation and No. 7 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
