Missouri’s recruiting is in a state of flux after the Tigers lost their second commitment since firing coach Barry Odom on Saturday morning.

Jalen St. John, an offensive tackle from St. Louis, Missouri, announced that he would re-open his recruitment. St. John said he would take the remaining 4 official visits, and sign on Feb. 5. He’s a 3-star prospect with a reported 16 offers, according to 247Sports, and noted that he made the decision after he talked with his family about the coaching changes.

St. John chose Mizzou over Auburn and Iowa State, and when he committed in July, the 6-foot-5, 300-pound prospect was ranked as the nation’s No. 37 OG and the state’s No. 11 overall prospect for the class of 2020.

According to Tiger Prowl, St. John is the second recruit to decommit from Missouri following the firing. Robert Wooten, a defensive end from Stafford, Texas, decommitted on Saturday.

The Mizzou recruiting class is down 15 players, and ranked No. 12 in the SEC.
