The women’s basketball game between South Carolina and Mizzou on Sunday night got out of hand both on the court and in the stands.
Two Mizzou players were ejected, and based on the altercation that took place on the court, both teams could have had more players kicked out.
Afterwards, Mizzou said some of its players were spit on by South Carolina fans, and on Tuesday, AD Jim Sterk took things a bit farther, making serious claims that Mizzou players were called the “n-word” and that he thinks South Carolina coach Dawn Staley promoted the unacceptable atmosphere:
#Mizzou Athletic Director Jim Sterk didn't pull punches when talking with us about the treatment the Tiger #WBB team received at #SouthCarolina on Sunday.

South Carolina picked up the big 64-54 victory, but it’s clear these two teams don’t like each other at all.
It remains to be seen what comes of this scandal, but this isn’t a good look for South Carolina fans at the moment.
