Kris Abrams-Draine has shown interest in playing in the SEC throughout his recruitment, but he hasn’t found the right fit.

Earlier this week, Abrams-Draine backed off his pledge to Ole Miss. It wasn’t his first time committing and later decommitting from an SEC program. On March 7, 2018, Abrams-Draine committed to LSU. He stayed pledged to the Tigers over a year, but then decommitted on April 4, 2019. Abrams-Draine committed to Ole Miss on June 25, 2019. This weekend, Abrams-Draine will be checking out another SEC school: Missouri.

The Spanish Fort (Alabama) product is listed at 6-1, 170 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Abrams-Draine is ranked as the No. 20 Alabama recruit, No. 70 wide receiver and No. 413 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2020. His recruiting profile shows 22 scholarship offers.

Other Power 5 programs are also interested in Abrams-Draine. His decommitment from Ole Miss came days after a visit to Nebraska (Jan. 17). He also has an upcoming visit scheduled with Florida State on Jan. 31.
