WATCH: Missouri reveals uniform combination for Week 3
Missouri is officially ready for battle this weekend.
The Tigers have just revealed their jersey combination for Saturday’s matchup against Southeast Missouri State with a video clip shared by the official Missouri Football Twitter account.
Mizzou is set to host Southeast Missouri State Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. ET/6:30 p.m. CT on the SEC Network.

We all learned on SEC NATION last weekend that Mizzou has a Director of Equipment who is responsible for choosing the uniforms for each game. So MAYBE FINALLY we can put to rest all the weekly comments like “maybe if they focused more on football they’d win more games!”
Mizzou can walk and chew gum at the same time, guys. At no point did picking a uniform interfere with game prep.
I clearly missed something.
Every week (including previous seasons), Mizzou reveals the uniform combo they will wear for the upcoming game. And without fail, there’s always someone who makes the same comment– “just focus on football instead of uniforms!”, etc. It’s as though they believed Barry Odom was taking hours of his game prep time to piece together a slick look.
I was just getting ahead of them this week by letting them know, again, that there are people in charge of uniforms outside of the coaching staff.
It’s called “symbolism over substance.”
Call it whatever you want. I have a feeling you’re one of the old school guys who would blow your wad if Mizzou came out in the Block M helmets. In other words, you DO care about the “symbolism”, but just don’t like the current look. (That’s called hypocrisy)

I’m usually leery of all black unis when trying to contrast wide receivers against the same team’s all-black unis on the sidelines. But hey, they look good. I like the bold gold stripe.
