The first half may not have gone all that well for Missouri, but the Tigers were off to an explosive start in the second half of Wednesday night’s Texas Bowl.

The Tigers trailed Texas 21-7 at the halftime intermission in Houston, but that changed on play No. 1 out of the locker room.

Mizzou quarterback Drew Lock immediately found wide receiver Johnathan Johnson on a 79-yard strike for a touchdown.

Unfortunately, the Tigers then missed the extra point, so the score held at 21-13.

Hopefully, though, that play was the spark Mizzou needed to get things rolling in the second half.
