Wyoming coach Craig Bohl explains why Drew Lock is a legitimate Heisman candidate
Mizzou QB Drew Lock threw for 398 yards and four touchdowns in a 40-13 win over Wyoming on Saturday night, and it left the Wyoming coach impressed.
That’s saying something, because Craig Bohl is familiar with playing against Heisman-winning quarterbacks.
As you can see below, Bohl compared Lock to former Oregon QB Marcus Mariota, saying he doesn’t think Lock is too far away from Mariota’s talent level:
Craig Bohl: "We played a Heisman Trophy winner a few years ago (Marcus Mariota), and I don't think this guy (Drew Lock) is too far off." #GoWyo

Lock hasn’t put up the video-game numbers he did during non-conference play last year, but he hasn’t had to.
He’s developing a more complete game, and that is scary for opposing defenses as the Tigers march forward into the 2018 season.
