Online casino revenue continues to grow in the United States each year.
But, just how much is it growing?
Weโve seen record revenue months set somewhat consistently across the seven legal iGaming states. In 2026, online casinos are averaging more than $1 billion in revenue per month.
Hereโs a closer look at where things stand for each of the seven online casino states and how theyโve grown revenue in 2026.
US iGaming Revenue Up 18%
We currently have the revenue data for each legal online casino state through July in 2026.
Thatโs seven months worth of information that we can compared to the first seven months of 2025.
Hereโs where each state stands in terms of how it has grown its online casino revenue.
Takeaways from US Online Casino Revenue Data
Thereโs a lot to look at with the table above, but hereโs some of the most noteworthy information.
Michigan Growing the Most in Overall Revenue
Of the seven states, Michigan has added the most iGaming revenue this year.
Michigan has produced another $384.4 million, which is more than $130 million in additional revenue compared to Pennsylvania, the iGaming revenue leader.
Michigan has been aided by the addition of two notable online casinos since December. Hard Rock Bet Casino launched to start December, and that was followed by bet365 Casino Michigan in April. These two online casinos have provided a big boost.
In 2026 alone, Hard Rock Casino has produced $148.9 million in revenue in Michigan. Prior to that, the online casino under the Hannahville Indian Community license, which was TwinSpires and Sports Illustrated), had only produced a collective $54.7 million over five years.
When it comes to bet365, it took over for PokerStars Casino, which topped out in 2021 with $40.9 million in revenue. Since April, bet365 has already racked up $32.1 million in revenue in Michigan, so it is well on its way to blowing past any previous records for its license holder.
Small States Show Highest Growth Rates
Two of the smallest iGaming states, West Virginia and Delaware, are seeing the biggest revenue growth in terms of percentage.
West Virginia online casinos are up 56.5% in 2026, jumping from $200.8 million to $314.2 million. Delaware online casinos are up 52.5%, jumping from $69.2 million to $105.5 million.
The growth for WV online casinos has it more within striking distance of Connecticut for the fourth spot in the state revenue pecking order, but it will need to continue at this pace for a bit to reach that level.
Delaware has see a big boost in its 2026 revenue thanks to online poker returning to the state in June 2025 after a lengthy blackout that lasted 18 months. While only bringing in a small percentage of the overall casino revenue, itโs still more than it was bringing in without it.
