The official 2026 SEC Baseball Tournament bracket is live following Saturday’s round of regular season finales.
The SEC Tournament is set to start on Tuesday, May 19 and runs through Sunday, May 24 from Hoover, Alabama. The Championship game is set for 1 p.m. on Sunday.
Here’s a look at the official bracket:
Of course, Georgia is the No. 1 seed in the tournament after locking up the SEC regular season title last week. The Bulldogs put together a fantastic season, finishing 23-7 in SEC play and 43-12 overall.
Texas claims the 2-seed ahead of 3-seed Texas A&M and 4-seed Alabama. All 4 teams named above will enjoy a double bye and start play on Thursday. Florida, Arkansas, Auburn and Mississippi State will enjoy a bye until Wednesday.
Baseball America’s latest NCAA Tournament bracketology lists 12 SEC teams in the Field of 64, but keep in mind that this bracketology does not include this weekend’s results. Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Texas and Texas A&M were listed as locks, with Tennessee and Kentucky likely to crack the field.
Seeing as Tennessee won its regular season finale and Kentucky fought well against Arkansas in a 1-2 series loss, they should both be in good shape — but the Wildcats are definitely going to want to win on Friday against Vanderbilt. The Commodores are also fighting for an NCAA Tournament berth and improved their position with a series sweep of South Carolina this week.
Definitely a game to keep an eye on.
