The 2026 college baseball season is less than a month away.

With just a few weeks left before opening day, Baseball America released its preseason top-25 on Monday afternoon. The SEC is very well-represented, with 6 teams placing in the top 10.

UCLA earned the No. 1 spot, followed by LSU and Mississippi State. Georgia Tech and Auburn rounds out the top 5. Elsewhere in the top 10, Georgia comes in at No. 6 while Texas is No. 8 and Arkansas is No. 10.

The SEC also has several other teams sprinkled throughout the top 25, including No. 13 Tennessee, No. 16 Ole Miss, No. 17 Vanderbilt, No. 19 Oklahoma and No. 22 Florida.

LSU is expected to be a top contender for another College World Series title. The Tigers are the defending champs and have won 2 of the last 3 CWS events overall. However, LSU will have to replace ace Kade Anderson, who is now in the Seattle Mariners organization.

Tennessee is another team dealing with plenty of turnover this season. The Vols lost head coach Tony Vitello to the San Francisco Giants and saw ace Liam Doyle go No. 5 overall in the MLB Draft to the St. Louis Cardinals.

The college baseball season will officially begin on Feb. 13.
