The eighth-ranked Auburn baseball team drubbed seventh-ranked Texas A&M 18-5 in seven innings Saturday – handing the Aggies their first SEC series loss since March – in front of 7,262 at Blue Bell Park in College Station.

Auburn (32-13 overall, 14-9 SEC) can sweep the Aggies with a victory Sunday (2 pm ET, SEC Network+). Texas A&M (34-10, 14-8) lost for just the fifth time at home all season and dropped its first conference series since hosting Georgia on March 20-22. The setback was also the Aggies’ first run-rule loss since tumbling 11-1 in seven innings to then-No. 1 UCLA on Feb. 28.

Auburn ripped off 19 hits Saturday – with Chase Fralick and Ethin Bingaman each hitting two-run homers and Brandon McCraine belting a three-run shot. Bingaman, McCraine, Cade Belyeu and Eddie Madrigal each had three hits, and every Tigers hitter reached base at least once. McCraine drove in four runs and Bingaman added three RBIs.

Andreas Alvarez (8-2) earned the complete-game victory for Auburn, scattering six hits and striking out 11. Gavin Grahovac hit a two-run homer and a solo shot for Texas A&M (the only Aggie with more than one hit), and Jorian Wilson added a two-run homer. Shane Sdao (3-4) took the loss.
