Georgia names starting pitcher for CWS semifinal against Oklahoma

With the season on the line, Georgia is turning to Paul Farley on the mound.

Ahead of Wednesday’s elimination game against Oklahoma (7 p.m. ET, ESPN), Farley was announced as UGA’s starting pitcher. Wes Johnson’s Bulldogs are trying to keep their season alive by forcing a winner-take-all game for Thursday.

A redshirt sophomore, Farley is in his third season with the program. The 6-2, 210-pounder is a right-handed pitcher.
