LSU could clinch another college baseball National Championship on Sunday afternoon in Omaha.

With less than 2 hours to go before first pitch, the Tigers have released their lineup for Game 2 against Coastal Carolina. As expected, right-hander Anthony Eyanson will get the start for the Tigers against Coastal Carolina ace Jacob Morrison.

Eyanson will have a tough act to follow after Kade Anderson threw 9 shutout innings on Saturday night against the Chanticleers in a 1-0 win. But like Anderson, Eyanson has a sub-3 ERA this season with impressive strikeout numbers (143 in 101.2 innings of work).

As for LSU’s batting lineup, it remains unchanged on Sunday as the Tigers prepare to face another right-handed pitcher from Coastal Carolina:

Steven Milam was the hero yesterday for LSU as he drove in the game’s lone run in the first inning. The Tigers lineup will have their work cut out for them against Morrison, who has shut down the likes of Arizona and Oregon State during Coastal’s postseason run so far.

First pitch for LSU vs. Coastal Carolina on Sunday afternoon is set for 2:30 p.m. ET on ABC (here’s a FuboTV free trial).

LSU is looking for its eighth national title all-time. USC leads all programs with 12 college baseball national titles, although the Trojans haven’t won it all since 1998. This would be LSU’s second title in the last three years.
