Oklahoma baseball added to its 2027 roster in a big way on Saturday afternoon.
The Sooners picked up a commitment from JUCO transfer outfielder Kameron Yearsley. Last season at John A. Logan College, Yearsley hit .464 with 37 home runs and 99 RBI across 58 games. The sophomore also scored 91 runs and struck out just 30 times all season.
He made his announcement on social media:

Yearsley was previously committed to Missouri State but backed off of that pledge on June 19 after earning JUCO All-America honors for his efforts in 2026.
He’ll join an Oklahoma team that’s coming off of a surprise run to the 2026 College World Series championship. The Sooners won the national title despite being unseeded heading into the NCAA Tournament.
They are in danger of losing multiple key outfielders to the MLB Draft this offseason, which could open up a spot for Yearsley to be an early contributor in 2027.
Oklahoma coach Skip Johnson and his staff have been aggressive in adding talent via the portal this offseason. Yearsley joins a group that also includes Carson Brumbaugh, Jay Abernathy and Sawyer Farr, among others.
