The SEC baseball regular season has come to a close, and the final SEC Players of the Week of the 2026 regular season have been revealed, per a release from the SEC on Monday.

Four players from 3 teams claimed this week’s awards. First up is Texas catcher Carson Tinney, who totaled 3 home runs, 10 RBIs and 17 total bases to lead Texas over Missouri in a series sweep this past weekend. Tinney is one of two Longhorns to receive SEC weekly honors alongside pitcher Dylan Volantis, who was named SEC Co-Pitcher of the Week.

Volantis was also spectacular against the Tigers, striking out 11 batters across 7 innings in Game 2 Friday night. Volantis — considered one of the best pitchers in college baseball — has now won the SEC Pitcher of the Week award 3 times this season.

Florida‘s Liam Peterson was named the co-Pitcher of the Week alongside Volantis. The Gators Game 2 starter helped clinch the series against LSU, throwing a complete game with 11 strikeouts (1 shy of a career high) with just 3 allowed hits.

Finally, Alabama‘s Myles Upchurch was named the SEC Freshman of the Week for his performance against Ole Miss, striking out 6 with 4.0 shutout innings.
