Tennessee will be without starting pitcher Landon Mack (arm soreness) as the Vols take on Oklahoma on Saturday.

That news was confirmed by the SEC-mandated availability report that Tennessee released on Saturday morning. The Vols and Sooners will finish up Game 2 of their series in Oklahoma City on Saturday afternoon, resuming Friday’s contest which was suspended due to inclement weather.

After that game is over, Tennessee and Oklahoma will play the series finale. The Vols will be without Mack, who has been a regular in their rotation and would have been in line to start Game 3 of the series.

Tennessee’s injury report also states that infielder Manny Marin is a game-time decision. Marin started at shortstop and picked up 2 hits in Friday’s game before it was suspended with the Vols holding a 5-3 lead in the 7th inning.

Mack hasn’t pitched since May 3 against Kentucky. He threw 6 innings in a win over the Wildcats but has dealt with arm soreness and missed his scheduled start against Texas last weekend.

At this time, it’s unclear if Mack will be healthy enough to help the Vols at the SEC Tournament next weekend or in the NCAA Tournament later this month.
