AJ Storr entering transfer portal following court decision

AJ Storr had a standout 2025-26 season at Ole Miss, Year 4 of his college basketball career. Now that he has been granted a Year 5, Storr will look at finding a new school for 2026-27.
Storr was one of 19 players granted an injunction on Friday by a Nashville court. Joe Tipton of On3 reports that those players have a special window of Aug. 3-10 to enter the transfer portal, and Storr will take advantage of that opportunity.

After playing just 15.7 minutes per game over 34 contests (4 starts) at Kansas, Storr bounced back in a big way at Ole Miss. With the Rebels, Storr averaged 15.5 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists over 26.3 minutes per game in 35 contests (15 starts). He shot 44.8%, the highest shooting percentage of his career, with the Rebels.
Storr’s 2025-26 numbers were his best since 2023-24 at Wisconsin. A 36-game starter, Storr averaged 16.8 points and 3.9 rebounds over 28.8 minutes per game with the Badgers.
In 2022-23, Storr began his career at St. John’s. In the 3 seasons that followed, Storr played for Wisconsin, Kansas and Ole Miss.
