London Jemison’s freshman season, with the Alabama Crimson Tide, was a learning experience. Each time he played more than 10 minutes in a non-conference game, he scored double-digit points. From there, he took his lumps against the SEC. He’s choosing to embrace the grind and overcome those struggles, though, instead of heading elsewhere.
Saturday morning, Jemison — the No. 38 player in the 2025 recruiting class, per 247Sports Composite rankings — announced he will remain at Alabama for the 2026-27 campaign. The Oakdale, CT native averaged 6.2 points and 3.4 rebounds in 15.7 minutes per game as a freshman.

At this moment, Jemison is the only player from the 2025-26 Crimson Tide confirmed to return for next season. However, Alabama’s roster is far from barren.
Head coach Nate Oats has added three high-major players — Brandon Garrison (Kentucky), Jamarion Davis-Fleming (Mississippi State) and Cole Cloer (NC State) — from the transfer portal and has commitments from three top-40 recruits (Qayden Samuels, Jaxon Richardson and Tarris Bouie).
The biggest domino in the Crimson Tide’s offseason has yet to fall. Aden Holloway, the rising senior guard who missed the NCAA Tournament after being suspended for a felony drug arrest, intends to return to the program, but has only been cleared to resume classes at the time of this article.
How Alabama proceeds before the transfer portal closes will likely give fans an indication of whether or not Holloway will be on the team next year.
