Auburn basketball enjoyed great success under the retired Bruce Pearl, including last year’s trip to the Final Four, so it’s not like this season’s Tigers are trying to shed bad memories or anything.

Now under the direction of Steven Pearl, Bruce’s son who took over for his father as the head coach on the Plains, the 2025-26 Auburn Tigers just wanted to have a little fun with their new threads at SEC Basketball Tipoff on Wednesday in Birmingham. Specifically, Auburn was showing off its new Nike uniforms for the upcoming season, with this particular video featuring some Tigers players in their road blue uniforms.

They posed for the cameras and smiled pretty with their new head coach, another Pearl to carry the lasting basketball legacy at Auburn. The 1 thing Steven Pearl’s father wasn’t able to do was bring a national championship back to the Plains, coming close last year and during the 2019 run to the Final Four.

That missing piece is what Steven Pearl will hope to bring Auburn next April, but that’s serious stuff for another day. For now, it was time to model those new Nike uniforms in front of the cameras, with the regular season starting next month.

Here is the video of the Auburn players posing with their new head coach:
