Auburn basketball has added to its 2026-27 roster with the addition of 7-foot center Narcisse Ngoy, who recently played for France’s Elite 2 League.

Auburn‘s social media account revealed the news on Tuesday morning with a press release, which included the following quote from head coach Steven Pearl:

“We’re excited to welcome Narcisse Ngoy to our program. He’s a high-upside young man who brings toughness, physicality, and a team-first mindset to everything he does,” Pearl said. “Narcisse has a strong feel for the game on both ends of the floor. His instincts, ability to catch and finish around the basket, rim protection, and willingness to embrace contact will make him an immediate impact while filling a huge need for our team.”

This is a strong addition to address the loss of KeShawn Murphy, who has exhausted his college eligibility. Ngoy was a dominant force in France, averaging 10.8 points and 11.5 rebounds per game, which led the league. Ngoy also led the league in blocked shots (2.5).
