Welcome to semifinal Saturday at the SEC Tournament.
Vanderbilt will look to upset Florida in the first game of the day while 15th-seeded Ole Miss will aim to keep its season alive against Arkansas.
As always, this story will cover 3 DFS picks to consider on Underdog Fantasy.
College basketball predictions (March 14)
Let’s dive in:
Alex Condon lower than 7.5 rebounds
Once again, I like Condon to record lower than 7.5 rebounds. Florida’s roster boasts several other elite rebounders, especially after adjusting for position, and Condon’s rebounding responsibilities have been trending down over the second half of the season. He averages just 6.8 boards per game in SEC play and hasn’t hit 8+ in a game since Feb. 17. Condon is also facing a Vanderbilt offense that’s top 10 nationally in offensive efficiency (meaning fewer missed shots) and middle-of-the-pack in the SEC in pace (meaning only an average number of possessions).

Duke Miles lower than 14.5 points
It’s not easy to fade Duke Miles after his remarkable performance on Friday against Tennessee. Miles poured in 30 points on 11-of-14 shooting in a narrow win over the Vols. Maybe Miles continues to be red-hot from the floor, but I’m comfortable taking the other side. He’s averaging fewer than 15 points per game in SEC play and his shot volume is typically closer to 10 attempts than 15. I think we see some regression from Miles on Friday.
Meleek Thomas higher than 14.5 points
I think Thomas’ scoring projection is undervalued here. He turned in a stinker on Friday night, going 2-for-8 in a narrow win over Oklahoma. But Thomas has been a reliable second scorer all year long for the Razorbacks and regularly takes 13+ shot attempts. I expect most of Ole Miss’s defensive attention to be on Darius Acuff, who scored 37 points on Friday against the Sooners. Thomas will be secondary on the scouting report and will be facing an Ole Miss defense that’s on tired legs, playing for a 4th time in 4 days.Â
