Duke is not done shaping the roster for the 2025-26 season just yet, landing a late addition to the recruiting class on Friday.

The late pickup from the high school ranks comes in the form of Sebastian Wilkins, a 4-star power forward out of New Hampshire who was also considering Maryland. Originally a prospect for the 2026 recruiting class, Wilkins committed to Duke and will reclassify to join the Blue Devils for this season, according to Dushawn London with 247 Sports.

The late pickup is a nice boost for Jon Scheyer. After his reclassification, Wilkins is rated as the 35th overall player in the country for 2026 and the No. 7 PF in the country, according to the 247 Sports Composite.

The commitment of Wilkins brings Duke’s high school recruiting class up to 5 players, with all 5 prospects rated as top-35 players for the cycle. Dame Sarr, another late addition to the recruiting class out of Italy, ranks as the 32nd overall prospect available, while 5-star forward Cameron Boozer headlines the class as the No. 3 overall player.

This past season, the Blue Devils advanced to their first Final Four appearance under Scheyer in his 3rd season since replacing longtime head coach Mike Krzyzewski. Duke was also in great shape to take down Houston and advance to the national title game, but let a lead slip through its fingers late.
