Florida took care of business on Saturday afternoon in dominating fashion, as the Gators defeated Alabama, 104-82, to advance to the SEC Tournament Championship against Tennessee.

The game was competitive early, as the Crimson Tide led for much of the first half, and trailed the Gators 47-45 at the half. However, Florida took off in the second half, outscoring the Crimson Tide 57-37 after the break en route to the win.

Not only was it a great performance for the Florida offense, but it was historic as the Gators set an SEC Tournament record for most points in a conference tournament game.

The 104 points broke the previous record of 102 points by Arkansas in 1998 in a game against Tennessee. It is only the 6th time that a team has reached 100 in an SEC tournament game, with the Razorbacks being the last time.

Walter Clayton Jr. kept his torrid scoring as of late, as he led the Gators with 22 points, including 6-of-11 from the 3-point line. Five other Florida players reached double figures, with guards Alijah Martin and Will Richard tied for 2nd most with 16.

The Gators will look to potentially lock up a No. 1 seed and win the SEC Championship on Sunday as they take on Tennessee. Both teams won on their home court in dominating fashion. The Gators won 73-43 in Gainesville, while the Volunteers got a 66-46 win in Knoxville.

Tipoff between the 2 teams will be at 1 p.m. ET and the game will be on ESPN.
