Joe Lunardi’s updated bracketology includes 6 SEC teams in NCAA Tournament field

Joe Lunardi updates his full NCAA Tournament bracketology projections twice a week during the stretch run of the college basketball season.
On Tuesday, he released his updated 68-team projections for the upcoming men’s college hoops tournament.
As you can see below, he has 6 teams in the field as things stand right now, all on the 6-seed line or higher. Florida isn’t in the 68-team field, but the Gators are in the “Next Four Out” section.
Here’s a look at where each SEC team stands in Lunardi’s latest projections:
- Auburn — No. 1 seed (East)
- Kentucky — No. 2 seed (Midwest)
- Tennessee — No. 4 seed (South)
- Alabama — No. 5 seed (West)
- LSU — No. 6 seed (South)
- Arkansas — No. 6 seed (West)
- Florida — Next Four Out
It’s a big week for every team on this list. We’ll see who takes a step toward March Madness and who falters down the stretch.
