Jordan Ross is returning to the West. The Pleasant Grove, Utah native will play for Cal next season after spending a lone season in Athens, Georgia with the Bulldogs.
This marks the second California school Ross will suit up for. The former Georgia guard originally started his college career playing for Saint Mary’s, spending 2 seasons in Moraga before committing to Mike White last offseason.
Ross struggled to keep up offensively with the rest of the SEC. He averaged 6.7 points and 2.5 rebounds per game while shooting a dismal 42% from the field and 30% from range, attempting only 32 3-point shots all season. He was a solid defender for the Bulldogs, however, which earned him his time on the court, just over 20 minutes per game.
Ross is the second former Georgia player to commit to Cal, joining Jake Wilkins. The Golden Bears have also added commitment from former Wright State guard Michael Cooper and former Pitt guard Nojus Indrusaitis.
Georgia has brought in 3 transfer this offseason: former Penn State guard Freddie Dilione, Saint Louis sharpshooter Brady Dunlap and JUCO prospect Kemauri Millender, Smurf Millender’s brother. Millender, Kanon Catchings, Blue Cain and Kareem Stagg have all announced their intentions to return in 2026-27.
