Houston guard Mylik Wilson is a “game-time decision” for the Cougars’ Elite Eight matchup against Tennessee on Sunday afternoon.

Wilson suffered an injury in Houston’s Sweet 16 win over Purdue. According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, Wilson is warming up ahead of Houston’s game vs. Tennessee. However, Thamel notes that Wilson remains a game-time decision.

Here’s a clip of Wilson warming up before the game:

Wilson plays an important role off the bench for the Cougars. The sophomore guard averaged over 17 minutes per game during Big 12 play. He was also highly-productive during those minutes, averaging 6.5 points and 3.4 rebounds per contest.

Wilson also has significant defensive responsibilities when he’s on the court. Tennessee has multiple guards who can put up big scoring numbers offensively in Chaz Lanier and Zakai Zeigler, so the Cougars would love to have Wilson available for this matchup.

Houston is looking to make its first Final Four since 2021. For the Vols, they’re in the Elite Eight for the 2nd consecutive season but have never reached the Final Four.

Tennessee is a 2.5-point favorite in this game, according to the latest odds from bet365. If you want to bet on this game, here’s a bet365 Tennessee bonus code to help you get started with a new-user sign-up bonus when you join.

Tipoff is set for 2:20 p.m. ET on Sunday afternoon.
