Labaron Philon has played his final game for the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Philon confirmed on Wednesday that he will forego the remainder of his college eligibility and enter the 2025 NBA Draft. He made that decision after receiving feedback from NBA scouts following the scouting combine in Chicago this week.

Philon shared the news of his decision with ESPN’s Jeff Borzello.

“I’m all-in on the draft,” Philon said, adding that Nate Oats and the Alabama basketball staff weren’t surprised by his decision.

Philon entered the 2024-25 season as a potential one-and-done prospect. He had a good year with the Crimson Tide, averaging 10.6 points and 3.8 assists per night as a freshman.

Philon is a potential first-round pick, but it’s also possible he’ll have to wait until Round 2 to hear his name called. According to ESPN’s latest 2025 NBA mock draft, Philon is projected to be picked No. 36 overall by the Brooklyn Nets. Philon is the only Alabama player listed in ESPN’s latest mock.

If Philon is drafted, he’d be the first former Alabama player to be picked in the NBA draft since 2023 when Brandon Miller and Noah Clowney both went in Round 1.

The 2025 NBA Draft is set for June 25.
