NCAA March Madness selection committee reveals top 16 seeds if tournament started today

The NCAA March Madness selection committee revealed Saturday afternoon the initial top 16 seeds.
There are more than 3 weeks until Selection Sunday for the official release of the 2022 NCAA Tournament Bracket; however, the committee have everyone an insight into what they are thinking.
The 4 1-seeds aren’t a huge surprise: Gonzaga, Auburn, Arizona and Kansas. The Tigers are the SEC’s top program with a 24-2 overall record, including 12-1 in conference play. At this time, the committee views Gonzaga as the No. 1 overall seed.
The Kentucky Wildcats landed a 2-seed, while Tennessee landed a 3-seed.

The official NCAA Tournament Bracket on Selection Sunday will be revealed on March 13.
