Saturdayโ€™s SEC slate is loaded once again as all 16 teams are in action.

All eyes will be on Tennessee vs. Alabama, as the Crimson Tide are making the controversial decision to bring back Charles Bediako following a court ruling this week.ย

However, there are several other big games on the slate to examine as well.ย Multiple SEC teams are in need of a big win on Saturday to improve their March Madness aspirations.

Saturday, Jan. 24 DFS college basketball plays

Here are 3 DFS plays for Saturdayโ€™s slate:

Otega Oweh higher than 18 points (via Dabble)

Oweh has one of the highest floors in college basketball โ€” heโ€™s scored in double figures in every single game so far this season for Kentucky. Heโ€™s scored at least 18 points in six of his last eight games. Since conference play started, Oweh is averaging almost 15 field goal attempts and 6 free throw attempts per game. Per Hoop-Explorer, Oweh is making north of 67% of his shots at the rim this season โ€” more than 6% better than the Division I average. Ole Miss is 14th in the SEC in defensive efficiency so far this season, per KenPom.ย

Tyler Tanner higher than 16.5 points (via Underdog)

Vanderbiltโ€™s Tyler Tanner has been one of college basketballโ€™s breakout stars this season. Since Frankie Collins went down with an injury, Tannerโ€™s volume has increased to 13 field goal attempts and six free throw attempts per game over his last eight contests. He shoots 55% from 2-point range and is shooting a ridiculous 71% at the rim on the season, according to Hoop-Explorer. Those efficiency numbers have dipped a bit in SEC play, particularly on the road, but I think his volume has been stable enough to suggest he can easily get to 17 points against Mississippi State. The Bulldogsโ€™ defense is not particularly disruptive (dead last in the SEC in turnover rate so far), which plays to Tannerโ€™s strengths.ย

Jacob Crews lower than 10.5 points (via Underdog)

Jacob Crews is averaging 11.6 points per game this season, but thatโ€™s largely because he caught fire from three in non-conference play. Crews has been a solid shooter for a couple years now, but he went nuclear over Mizzouโ€™s first 12 games of the season, hitting 53% of his 3-pointers over that span. The vast majority of those games were against low-major competition. In his last seven games, all against SEC foes or Illinois, Crews is hitting just 30.8% from downtown. At nearly 31%, heโ€™s probably due for some positive regression, but his modest usage rate of 13.4% in SEC play doesnโ€™t suggest a scoring explosion is on the horizon. Crews has only scored 11+ points twice in his last seven outings.ย ย
