14 SEC players listed in first round of Pro Football Weekly’s updated 2019 NFL Mock Draft

Now that every SEC team other than Alabama is done with the 2018 season, players are getting ready for the 2019 NFL Draft.

Once again, the first round is expected to feature plenty of SEC talent, and on Wednesday, Pro Football Weekly updated its Round 1 mock draft.

As you can see below, Kentucky pass rusher Josh Allen has risen all the way to No. 2 and leads 14 total SEC athletes in the Round 1 mock:

• No. 2 — Josh Allen, LB/DE, Kentucky — San Francisco 49ers
• No. 3 — Quinnen Williams, DL, Alabama — New York Jets
• No. 5 — Greedy Williams, DB, LSU — Tampa Bay Buccaneers
• No. 9 — D.K. Metcalf, WR, Ole Miss — Buffalo Bills
• No. 10 — Drew Lock, QB, Mizzou — Denver Broncos
• No. 11 — Devin White, LB, LSU — Cincinnati Bengals
• No. 12 — Jonah Williams, OL, Alabama — Green Bay Packers
• No. 15 — Deionte Thompson, DB, Alabama — Washington Redskins
• No. 16 — Greg Little, OL, Ole Miss — Carolina Panthers
• No. 22 — Jeffery Simmons, DL, Mississippi State — Indianapolis Colts
• No. 23 — Jachai Polite, LB/DE, Florida — Seattle Seahawks
• No. 25 — Deandre Baker, DB, Georgia — Oakland Raiders
• No. 28 — Derrick Brown, DL, Auburn — Los Angeles Chargers
• No. 30 — Montez Sweat, DL, Mississippi State — Los Angeles Rams

These guys will all need to show out at the NFL Combine, but for now, this is a good look at where things stand.
