Here are the biggest target positions of need in the 2017 cycle for every Southeastern Conference football program, according to several trusted contacts who would know such things.

โ€จโ€จALABAMA

Wide receiver and defensive line — The Tide only signed two receivers and three defensive linemen in the last class.

ARKANSAS

Running back — This position is a critical part of the Razorbacks offense and still a need in spite of the fact that they got Devwah Whaley in the 2016 class.

AUBURN

Offensive line — Herb Hand will get his first crack at a full cycle and the Tigers already have five-star Calvin Ashley committed at offensive tackle.

FLORIDA

Defensive tackle — After landing several defensive ends in the 2016 cycle, itโ€™s time for the Gators to re-stock the interior.

GEORGIA

Offensive tackle — UGA signed no pure offensive tackles in 2016. Offensive guard Isaiah Wynn slid outside and is playing tackle right now.

KENTUCKY

Offensive tackle — This would be quarterback, but the Wildcats already have commits there. Landon Young could be a day one starter in this class, so the need is evident.

LSU

Linebacker — The Tigers only signed one linebacker in the last two cycles and will look to re-stock that position in 2017.

MISSOURI

Defensive line — This has been the most important position for the Tigers over the years and they will continue to try to do so with the 2017 cycle.

MISSISSIPPI STATE

Offensive line — The Bulldogs are in need of numbers at this position as they continue to stockpile talent up front.

OLE MISS

Defensive line, linebackers — The Rebels need to re-stock at this two positions and I am told that most of the spots in the 2017 class could very well go to defensive prospects.

SOUTH CAROLINA

Secondary — The Gamecocks have depth issues at safety and always are in need of good corners. This will be a huge priority for Will Muschamp and staff this cycle.

TENNESSEE

Running back — The Vols are faced with possibly losing Jalen Hurd and Alvin Kamara after this season, so there is a need to re-stock the position.

TEXAS A&M

Linebacker — The Aggies are short on difference-makers here and so itโ€™s a big priority in 2017.

VANDERBILT

Interior defensive line/nose tackle — The Commodores will continue to target upgrades at all positions, but their defense is in need of a big โ€œzeroโ€ technique defensive tackle.
