The 2025 college football season is still a few months away, but multiple betting apps have issued updated win total projections for every SEC team following spring practice.

It was an eventful spring for several SEC teams, perhaps none more so than Tennessee. The Vols lost starting quarterback Nico Iamaleava to the transfer portal and now have a win total of 8.5, according to FanDuel. That’s tied for 4th amongst SEC teams as of publication.

Ahead of the Vols are 3 SEC teams with a win total of 9.5: Alabama, Georgia and Texas. The Bulldogs and Longhorns played for the SEC Championship Game a year ago while the Crimson Tide just missed out on another College Football Playoff appearances.

2025 SEC win totals

Here are the updated SEC regular-season win totals from FanDuel:

  • Alabama: 9.5 wins
  • Georgia: 9.5 wins
  • Texas: 9.5 wins
  • LSU: 8.5 wins
  • Ole Miss: 8.5 wins
  • Tennessee: 8.5 wins
  • Auburn: 7.5 wins
  • Florida: 7.5 wins
  • Missouri: 7.5 wins
  • South Carolina: 7.5 wins
  • Texas A&M: 7.5 wins
  • Oklahoma: 6.5 wins
  • Arkansas: 5.5 wins
  • Kentucky: 4.5 wins
  • Vanderbilt: 4.5 wins
  • Mississippi State: 3.5 wins

A total of 12 of the 16 SEC teams are currently expected to reach bowl eligibility, according to these projections. Last year, 13 SEC teams made the postseason with the only exceptions being Auburn, Kentucky and Mississippi State.

Notably, FanDuel’s projections are expecting Mizzou to take a step back this season after back-to-back 10+ win campaigns. Florida also has a win total of just 7.5 despite significantly-higher expectations in Gainesville this year after the Gators won 7 regular-season games a year ago.
