The Tennessee Volunteers have been having a recruiting run for the ages, and that continued on Sunday with a Mother’s Day surprise.
On Sunday afternoon, 4-star OLB Aaron Willis surprised his mom by committing to Tennessee.
As you can see below, the Baltimore native gave his mom a present that included a Tennessee hat and shirt to announce his commitment:
Willis is the second player in as many days to commit to Tennessee from St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, following 4-star DT KaTron Evans’ commitment on Saturday.
Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Willis is the No. 9 outside linebacker in the class of 2021 and the No. 4 overall recruit from the state of Maryland.
The Vols now have 20 players in their 2021 recruiting class, which currently ranks No. 2 in the nation and No. 1 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
