Aggies fans everywhere were watching Sunday as Texas A&M’s baseball team topped Florida 12-5 to win the SEC tournament. Texas A&M quarterbacks Trevor Knight and Jake Hubenak were among those to congratulate the team.
Knight seems so to have fully made the change from Sooner to Aggie:
Congratulations to @Aggie_Baseball! SEC CHAMPS! #RoadToOmaha

Hubenak went the gif route with his celebratory tweet.

Although the academic year dictates the season (fall 2015 through spring 2016) in the SEC, 2016 could be an exciting calendar year for the Aggies in the conference’s Big 3 sports. Texas A&M made it to the Sweet Sixteen in this year’s men’s basketball NCAA tournament and is now a national seed (No. 4) in the baseball tournament, meaning the Aggies will have homefield advantage for a potential run to the College World Series in Omaha.
Will TAMU’s recent success on the hardwood and diamond carry over to the gridiron? We’ll see this fall.
