Ainias Smith has played his last game for Texas A&M.

The star receiver announced on Friday morning that he intends to enter the 2024 NFL Draft. Smith also said he will not play in Texas A&M’s bowl game as he recovers from offseason surgery. Smith did say that he will be around the program through the bowl game, however, and plans to help coach the team during bowl prep.

Here’s his announcement:

“As my college journey is coming to an end, I wanted to thank Coach Fisher and the staff for believing in me,” Smith wrote in-part. “I also wanted to thank Texas A&M University, the 12th man and everyone who has supported along the way.”

The 2024 NFL Draft will be held from April 25-27.
