Defensive coordinator Pete Golding was the primary recruiter for Jefferson.
โCoach (Pete) Golding, he says heโs got a plan. Coach (Nick) Saban, heโs got a plan,โ Jefferson told Bama OnLine. โIt was just a lot of love coming from Alabama, the number one team in the nation. Iโve got to see what that is like. I love the competition. Theyโve got a lot of good guys. And thatโs going to make me better in the long run.โ
Jefferson plans to enroll at Alabama next January. His commitment is No. 8 for the Crimson Tide in the class of 2023, and the second linebacker, joining edge rusher Yhonzae Pierre.
